Our Beckley Center:     

     The Beckley Shepherd’s Center is located in the Educational Building of the Beckley Presbyterian Church.  We meet once a week on Tuesdays, September through June, from 9:00am – 12:00 noon.  Lunch is served at 12:00 noon and costs $3.00.  Membership is $20 a year, or $7.00 per quarter.

     What do we do at our meetings?  After coffee and conversation at 9am, various activities and classes are scheduled and taught by volunteers.  Depending on our members’ interests, classes can be added or changed as needed.  We also offer a Blood Pressure Clinic from 9:00 – 10:30.

     Some of the classes and activities offered this past year were:  Exercise, Art and Painting, Line Dancing, Square and Round Dancing, Needle Crafts and Quilting, Bible Study, A Tax Service, Beginning Computer Instruction, Small Appliance Repair, Bridge, Spanish, Singing, Travelogues, and Life Enrichment.
